1. First, I had to take a photo of myself using an Ipad. Once that was finished, I opened photoshop importing the photo I took of myself, then imported the photos that represented me. Such as the national flag of the Philippines to represent the country I'm from. Afterwards, I used blending modes for each of the pictures making sure each photo has a unique blend mode. I used opacity as well. I also used the brush tool to eat away at the rectangle parts of each photo, making each photo blend with one another.

2. I used Layer masks, Blending modes, I also changed the opacity for some of the photos as well. I used blending modes to have each photo have a unique sense to how they can blend in with my collage. I also changed the opacity to make each photo different and somewhat clear, revealing the layers behind. Layer masks were used to mask out the portions of a photo that I did not want visible, so therefore I used layer masks to erase different parts of each image.

3. My collage represents my identity by using different photos of my favorite places, animal, season, and my heritage. The Filipino Flag represents my country, the penguin is there because that's my favorite animal, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Manila are my favorite places, and winter is my favorite season. There are also some other images of me because I think it made my collage look nice.

4. What was successful is my knowledge in layer masking, and messing with the blend modes. The Collage itself was successful, I think the successful part of my project was learning more about blending so I can use it in the future.

5. I believe my project Meets the criteria because although to me it may look nice enough, but not as much to exceed the criteria. I think there are some points where I could have added different aspects, but did not manage to do so entirely. Such as I could have taken a better photo with the background more visible so I can add another background.
