1.  The book I chose is called Bakemonogatari. It is a japanese novel series created by NISIOISIN, which is about a senior named Koyomi Araragi. I chose this book because the series itself brought light into reading for me again. I started to like reading books after reading the series.

2. I chose around the whole entire plot to put onto this cover, covering all the symbols each character represents. Each character represent a crab, snail, monkey,

and a cat. Their supernatural occurrence each either happens from the animal itself represented as gods, or entities that revolve around them.

3. I first found silhouettes of the animals that the book symbolizes, and put them onto the cover. Afterwards, I put a polka dot background but changed the color of the circles from white to grey to match the scheme I was looking for. I used mask layers onto the polka dot background to erase any circles that seemed out of place for me.  I then masked Koyomi's character out of the solid background he was in using the object selector tool. I did the same things for any other character that shows onto the cover as well as changed their colors to math the color scheme. For the back, I put scenery from the show itself to mix into the back to show or depict the whole story. After all of that was finished, I added the authors small autobiography, the summary, and the title along with a notable quote that is used a lot from the book and show.

4. The easiest part of making the cover was adding the characters and adding the scenery. It was easy to grasp what I thought in my head. The most challenging part for me was thinking of how I wanted to create my design, and the creativity in my head.

5. Overall, I give my project around maybe a 3.5 to a 4, because there are minor but not major flaws on my cover. Such as the circles not being even, I could have erased some on the spin so it wouldn't look weird and maybe changed some of the colors on some characters.
